Add some Quamba to your Holiday Season.

Most people have never heard of Quamba, Minnesota. But that is the world headquarters for Sapsucker Farms Organics. Our Yellow Belly cider pairs well with the holidays. Available in three flavors: Semi-Sweet – juicy and tart like a bite of a fresh apple; Ginger – a nice flavor balance of apples and fresh organic ginger root grown on our farm; Barrel Aged – our cider aged in a bourbon barrel for several months, and tastes like an apple dumpling with bourbon sauce. Available at your favorite wine and spirits store throughout Minnesota, North Dakota, and Wisconsin. Ginger is available in Utah as well.

Send the gift of Minnesota to your loved ones this holiday season. Our certified organic maple syrup, and Minnesota wildflower honey is produced right here in Quamba. Our wild rice is harvested from Minnesota lakes and rivers too.

Wishing you all a very blessed holiday season.

300 Kids Visit the Farm.

On Tuesday September 12, The farm was all abuzz when the 3rd and 5th grade classes of Mora Elementary school had a field trip to Sapsucker Farms. The morning session was the 5th grade classes and the afternoon session was the 3rd grade classes.

The event was organized by the Kanabec County U of M Extension Master Gardeners and the teachers of Fairview elementary school with a grant from the Mora Education Foundation.

We established four stations and after 20 minutes, the whistle blew and the kids rotated to the next station. The four stations included:

Honey bees and native prairie

Apple orchard and chickens

Maple syrup and mushrooms

Hoop house with season extension growing

When the tour was done, everyone went home with a honey bear. A fun day for all.
